all year round, our Spanish holiday apartment in the Veramar complex, close to the beach (Vera Playa), is situated on the Costa Almeria, Spain.
This area has one the warmest and sunniest climates in the whole of Europe, with on average, more than 320 days of sun
a year. (Typical mid-day temperatures in January, 69°F and in July and August 99°F). |

modern, self catering, first floor, two bedroom apartment, is
located on a lovely gated complex, with a communal swimming
pool and fully furnished to a high standard. There
are many small typical Spanish villages & towns within easy
reach. |

Just a few minutes walk away from our holiday accommodation, is the
eight km long, wide sandy Vera playa beach, which is never overcrowded. There is a water sports centre with equipment
hire next to the Valle del Este Beach Club. Other bars and restaurants are scattered along the beach most being open into the night.
A water park is just a 100m away, with pony trekking, quad biking & cycle hire available locally. An Internet café/bar
is a short walk away, in the nearby Puerto Ray shopping centre, which also has a variety of small shops, bars and a supermarket.

If
you fancy golf in Spain, this area of the Costa Almeria has plenty of choice. There are four Golf courses nearby, just a short driving
distances away, with Mojacar hosting Club de Golf Cortijo Grande, with its elegant Andalucian style clubhouse and ClubMarina Golf Mojacar, which has greens right down to the seafront. Vera is home to the new Valle del Este course and the spectacular Desert Springs Golf Club a true Arizona desert style course. There is a new driving range opposite the nearby Puerto Rey commercial centre.

Almeria
airport is the nearest only 90 kms away, Murcia-San Javier
145km, while Alicante is 200 kms. There are daily flights
from many UK airports. From all airports the road links
are excellent, being motorway most of the way. Murcia airport
(San Javier) is a new toll motorway right into Vera.....
